DISCLAIMER PERFORMERS DIRECTORY is an independent agency, it is has no contractual agreement with any individual, group or organization that appears on this web site. The purpose of this online service is to supply artists and performers to the entertainments industry by means of suggestions from the agency or selection from viewing individual artists.

I agree to provide Proof of identity (I.E passport, ID card, P45, P60 or full birth certificate) and National Insurance number to accompany my registration form, or prior to this send identity information as soon as possible. Failure to do this will result to delay in work payments.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS & CONDITIONS
a) When a subscription or order is place between PERFORMERS DIRECTORY by a client it will be seen that you (referred the herein as the User) accept all terms and conditions.
b) No terms and conditions or variations other than set down shall be legally binding.
c) Any date proposed, upon Performers Directory given by ourselves or the User will be deemed as an estimate only and Performers Directory accept no responsibility if the date is not met.
d) Performers Directory will not publish or make available any advertisement or resume unless the relevant fee has been paid, unless any other arrangement has been agreed in writing.
e) The User who deems to advertise on Performers Directory web site, do so at their own discretion. Performers Directory will not be held liable for incorrect words or information supplied by the user.
f) Performers Directory has the right to refuse, suspend or terminate an advertisement if we have reasonable grounds to believe that the User may not be adhering to the given Terms & Conditions. We shall not be liable to give a reason.
g) Performers Directory will not be held responsible for the loss of any documentation, photographs, files, tapes or any materials being transported from the User to Performers Directory .
h) Performers Directory makes no warranty of any kind, information contained throughout or in relation to this web site is deemed for information purposes only.
i) The User should protect and not commit any actions, claims , damage, demands, liability, proceedings, fees and expenses, legal fees, whether direct or indirect, in any way connected with this contract brought or threatened against Performers Directory by a third party in connection with the use of this web site and any part thereof.
j) Performers Directory reserves the right to change any registration fees without notice, these fees are non-refundable as stated in our signup documentation. Terms & Conditions as well as any amount of classifications, in the event of any change prior notice if deemed necessary will be given to the User.
k) Performers Directory will not be held liable for any breach of this contract should the breach be deemed to be beyond our control, by Act of God, military maneuvers, war, international, national or local emergency, acts or omissions of government or competent authorities, fire, explosions, subsidence, or weather of particular severity, or acts or omissions by other parties who are not the responsibility of Performers Directory.
l) Whilst there are artists with the agency who have not paid a registration fee Performers Directory will as a loyalty agreement always in every circumstances give priority to those who have paid the full fee.

PERFORMERSDIRECTORY'S OBLIGATION
Performers Directory gives the User a non-exclusive license to use this service subject to the Terms & Conditions stated. The user may request termination of their subscription subject to a minimum of a five working day period. No refund or compensation will be paid by Performers Directory.
Performers Directory will endeavor to update the web site with reasonable skill and care, to ensure excellence and dependability in providing information relating to the entertainments industry as a whole.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS WHEN ACCEPTING WORK AND WHILST AT WORK SUPPLIED BY PERFORMERS DIRECTORY AGENCY
Agency commission can vary between 10 – 20 %, but will be confirmed at time of booking, this fee will be deducted from artists payment.

An invoice from the artist to Performers Directory Agency must be sent on completion of each job supplied by the agency before payment can be made, the invoice must include the artists name, national insurance or schedule D number, address, telephone number, date and hours of work. And bank details as all payments are made by BACS

Artists fees will be paid within 10 working days of Performers Directory receiving monies from the client as long as an invoice from the artist has been received.

Please remember that you are representing Performers Directory when you have been booked to work by one of our clients. Therefore politeness and good conduct is essential at all times. Consumption of alcohol or being found in an intoxicated state caused by non prescription drugs will not be tolerated and will result in instant dismissal.

If at any time you are unable to attend a job and be unable to give a reasonable explanation or you are away ill and cannot produce a sickness certificate provided by a medical practitioner, disciplinary measures will be taken and may result in dismissal or a reduction in wages. You must always inform ourselves and also the client who has employed you as soon as you are aware that you may not be able to attend or may be late, a person to person phone call is the only way you may do this, text messages or messages left on answer phones are unacceptable, 24 hours notice must be given so a replacement may be found. The only circumstances where it may be less than 24 hours is in the case of a genuine emergency.

· You must always be prompt on arrival to work and leave at a time agreed by the employer.
· Suitable clothing must be worn if appropriate.
· You must always appear clean and tidy.
· Whilst working you must not leave at any time unless given permission to do so.
· Do not leave any rubbish and only eat and smoke in designated areas.
· Do not take family or friends with you .

Should there be any problems or misunderstandings during the working day please call the office or any other contact numbers you have as soon as possible so the situation can be dealt with immediately.

When accepting any bookings or castings through Performers Directory you are agreeing to abide by the above terms and conditions.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS WHILST WORKING, ATTENDING CASTINGS AND AUDITIONS
When attending work, a casting or audition which has been supplied to the artist by Performers Directory Agency personnel telephone numbers, address’s, emails or any other contact detail may not be given out other than the Agencies telephone numbers and address, all work that has been generated from The Performers Directory Agency will be conducted through the agency unless otherwise agreed with the agency by written conformation, if at any time an artists is found in breach of this the artist will be instantly dismissed and this may result in legal proceedings. Any subsequent work as a direct result of the work initially supplied form The Performers Directory Agency will always go through the agency unless otherwise agreed in writing between the agency and the artist.
A contract will be supplied at the time of booking, if the booking is made within less than 5 working days a verbal agreement will apply.
The Performers Directory Agency gives no warranty to provide work, but the agency can guarantee that we do our utmost to seek work for the artists on our agency. If you do not attend without good reason or notification we will remove you from our database.
Whilst Performers Directory does not act as a sole agent we expect to be given priority if we contact you regarding work prior to other agents who may contact you about the same job, if this occurs and the artists moves over to the other agency then proceedings may be taken and the artist will be dismissed. If another agent contacts you about a job that we may contact you for at a later date, priority will be given to the other agent.

USE OF THE AUDITION FORUM
The audition forum is a service for performers who have paid the registration fee, once payment is made please contact the office for your pass word. There is no restriction on the amount of time an artist may use the audition forum. Whilst every care is taken to ensure that all work that appears on the notice forum we still urge everyone who replies to an advertisement where ever it is shown to always take precautions and never to meet anywhere other than a public place, if you are unsure please consult the office. The forum is a free service for advertisers to place performance related work on. Performers Directory make no revenue from advertising fees or from commission on work gained from the on line forums, the only time commission may be taken is when The Performers Directory Agency has placed a notice on the forum, this will be advised at the time of applying for the job.
